Rising Spring Village

Phase One

A transformational development is coming to Clinton and Mississippi College

Situated along Interstate 20 and US Highway 80 in Clinton, Rising Spring will be built on the site of the natural Robinson Spring. The first of two phases will feature a boutique hotel, dining experiences from Mississippi restauranteurs, retail shopping, loft residences, a primary care clinic, a fitness facility and an amphitheater.

This mixed-use development has the potential to create up to 500 jobs, giving the Clinton community a powerful economic boost.

The Rising Spring Story

Near the corner of Highway 80 and Springridge road lies a natural spring that is central to Clinton’s history—and its future.

The original Natchez Trace once wound its way past this historic spring. Native Americans, settlers and Civil War soldiers from both sides once drank from this spring as they made their way up and down the Trace.

One can only imagine the historic characters who may have quenched their thirst in these springs. Some say Andrew Jackson once enjoyed the spring’s refreshing water while on his many travels.

In the 1800s, this spring gave rise to something other than drinking water. It gave rise to the vibrant community of Clinton, MS. Without this spring, there would be no Clinton.

Very soon, this very spring will be the centerpiece of one of the most significant developments to come to Clinton in decades: Rising Spring Village and, ultimately, Rising Spring Market.
